Van Den Eynde: Crushed Hemp 500gm Bait Van Den Eynde This is simply hempseed that's been crushed and ground, not cooked. It's best prepared by soaking it in hot water overnight before fishing and makes a groundbait quite sticky when added in. Best used in water over 8 feet deep. Crushed hemp creates a lot of activity and cloud in the water and is a good attractor for medium sized roach. It can also be used for holding bait together in an open end feeder. |

Van Den Ende: Pv1 Collant Heavy Binder Bait Van Den Eynde A sweet binder: Brilliant for adding to any mix when method feeder fishing or when the mix needs to be made stiffer. This will make the mix more hardy when casting long distances or better when fihing deep water when the mix needs to be intact when hitting the bottom. Mixing Guide. 1 Pour the dry groundbait into a mixing bowl and blend before adding water. 2 Add water slowly whilst vigorously stirring the mix. Rub groundbit between palms to obtain a consistant texture. 3 When you feel the mixture is damp enough, set aside for 5 to 10 minutes to allow moisture to be fully absorbed. 4 Before use, you may find that a little more water needs to be added to the mix. 5 In some circumstances this ground bait is more effective when mixed well in advance of it's required use time. |

I don't know what it is about Van Den Eynde pigeon that makes it so attractive to roach. But I do know that since I've been using it as part of my canal groundbait, my catches have increased on many venues.. It's made from the dried droppings of racing pigeons fed on only the best-quality seeds, so what goes in one end comes out from the other in finely ground form. As an addition to groundbait, it releases lots of oils and also adds a lot of cloud effect to the groundbait. I use it with supercup, supermatch and crushed hemp, always riddling after mixing. Van Den Eynde: Grilled Hemp 500gm Bait Van Den Eynde This is hempseed that has been heated without water so that oils are released and 'explode' out. It is then cooled and ground up. Grilled hemp should be added just before the start of a session and is best used in depths of less than 8 feet. Top canal anglers use grilled hemp as part of their grounbait mix, especially where roach are the quarry. Added just before the start, it has lots of activity in the water. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS. 1) For best results, place groundbaits and additives in a ROUND mixing bowl to ensure all of the groundbait is dampened.2) Blend the dry ingredients thoroughly before adding water.3) Add water slowly whilst vigorously stirring the mixture together. This procedure is made easier with a sponge, which allows even distribution of water.4) When the mix begins to appear adequately dampened set aside for 5 to 10 minutes.5) You should find after 10 minutes the mix will require a little more water before it is ready for use. |

Van Den Eynde: Punch Crumb 800g Bait Van Den Eynde Mark Addy explains why he prefers Van Den Eynde punch crumb for breadpunch fishing. Feeding is one of the most important aspects of punched bread fishing and the great thing about Van Den Eynde punch crumb is its versatility. You can make it do whatever job you want. For example, on hard fished waters, i'll first riddle the punch crumb to remove the larger lumps. Then i'll add just a few of these larger pieces to the riddled punch crumb and mix as usual. The result is a very fine punched bread groundbait that contains a little food. Another trick I do is to run half a bag of Van Den Eynde pigeon sh*t through a flour sieve before adding water to the riddled result to produce a sloppy mix. Then i'll roll a small ball of this in the palm of my hand and dip it in punch crumb. When you feed this mix, it creates a cloud with hardly any food content and is good for difficult days. |
